What You'll Do

Sets up and maintains suppliers in the accounting system. Ensures appropriate approval and documentation is received before supplies are added or updated. Assists with monthly audit review of suppliers and year-end 1099 processing. Ensures compliance with appropriate company, federal, and state policies and regulations.• Creates new suppliers and maintains current suppliers information.• Validates Tax Identification numbers via IRS.• Conducts due diligence on records for new and existing suppliers to ensure the supplier is compliant with company regulations.• Ensures government compliance forms are filed including W9 and W8 forms for new suppliers.• Assists with year-end 1099 and 1042 filing and reporting.• Collaborates with Treasury and Internal Audit to maintain integrity of the supplier database.• Performs other duties as assigned.

What Experience You Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • One (1) year previous vendor management experience. • Basic knowledge of Accounting. • Working knowledge of large ERP system, (SAP preferred)system • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.• Customer service and relationship building skills.• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing proficiently enough to ask questions, obtain clarification, and solve problems.• Must be organized and demonstrate a sense of urgencyAmericold is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.EOE/AA M/F/D/V DFW
