Job Summary:

The Test Automation Engineer role will improve speed to market and the quality of our releases by increasing our level of automated testing. This person will develop and maintain our test framework, as well as create and manage automated test suites. The Test Automation Engineer will train and mentor other analysts in test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with Test Automation Team, Developers, and Testers to analyze, create and maintain test automation for our applications
• Write, design, execute, and maintain automated tests
• Communicates automation progress both in the build out of the suites and quality of test runs
• Stays current on new testing tools and capabilities in the market and analyzes their effectiveness in our process to suggest implementation
• Provides training to peers specifically around test automation
• Setting up, and maintaining Continuous Integration pipeline

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience as a QA performing manual and automated test cases in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and experience with OOP languages such as C#. 
• Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
• Experience in testing web services/API testing/SoapUI/Postman
• Critically strong analytical, critical thinking, time management, and task management skills
• Experience working with Selenium WebDriver or similar automated testing tools

Education:

Junior college/two-year college training or equivalent years of relevant IT experience
