Home Care HR Coordinator / Recruiter Needed

As a part of our dynamic team at ameriCARE, located in Willow Park, TX, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and recruiting top-notch caregivers and administrative staff to support our expanding operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some HR and recruiting experience looking to further develop their skills and take a leading role in shaping our HR / Recruiting strategies.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be tasked with finding and hiring qualified candidates for various positions within our home care agency.

Your key responsibilities will include setting hiring criteria, actively searching for potential hires, and engaging with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Maintaining employee files and updating policies and procedures as the company grows.

Ideal candidates will have some experience in HR and healthcare recruiting, particularly with CNAs and caregivers, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the recruiting process from job description creation to candidate onboarding.
  • Proactively source candidates using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Engage potential hires through effective communication and follow-ups.
  • Expand your recruitment network through participation in job fairs and networking events.
  • Develop and maintain job postings, defining clear job criteria and responsibilities.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics to refine strategies and processes.
  • Ensure a smooth and effective onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Maintain employee files.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with interviewing techniques and applicant screening.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and hiring best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade.
