Job Summary

AmeriCARE Pinellas is looking for a Care / Scheduling Coordinator, to join our growing team. The right candidate will be an ambitious leader that wants to grow with our company.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of the highest standard of Home Care services by efficiently managing and coordinating schedules for agency employees and clients.

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both caregivers and clients.

Responsibilities

Scheduling Management :

  • Utilize scheduling software to efficiently coordinate caregiver assignments with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for caregivers and clients, ensuring proper coverage at all times.

Client Communication :

  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduling inquiries, changes, or concerns, ensuring that caregiver assignments align with their requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries or issues promptly and professionally.

Caregiver Coordination :

  • Liaise with caregivers to communicate scheduling details, including shift assignments, client preferences, and special instructions.
  • Coordinate caregiver training and orientation sessions as needed to ensure compliance with agency standards and client expectations.
  • Foster positive relationships with caregivers, promoting a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Documentation and Record Keeping :

  • Maintain accurate records of caregiver schedules, client preferences, and service agreements.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant documentation, including schedules, care plans, and client details, in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations when handling sensitive client information.

Quality Assurance :

Monitor the quality of care delivery by proactively communicating with caregivers about upcoming work and addressing events and concerns.

Thus ensuring delivery of Home Care to expectations.

  • Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in scheduling and service delivery.
  • Participate in performance evaluations and quality assurance initiatives to uphold agency standards of excellence .

Qualifications

  • CNA License and experience as a caregiver
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and familiarity with basic computer applications.
  • Previous experience in scheduling coordination, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting is a plus.
  • Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of clients and caregivers.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules as needed.

Note : This position is a potential springboard for someone ambitious willing to take additional responsibilities as we continue to grow.

You will also be able to perform as CNA with the company.
