Job Description

Are you an experienced Mortuary Affairs or CBRN Specialist? Then we have an opportunity for you to lead the Joint Contaminated Human Remains Storage and Temporary Interment/Disinterment (JCHR-STID) Quick Reaction Test (QRT).

The objective of this project is to develop validated procedures to identify, store, account for, temporarily inter and disinter joint contaminated human remains (JCHR) for future repatriation to the United States if a chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) mass fatality incident occurred. The JCHR-STID QRT will provide joint warfighter tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to identify storage recommendations for JCHR prior to evacuation or temporary interment; provide successful preliminary identification for remains that cannot be repatriated expeditiously during large-scale combat operations; provide accountability for the remains at the temporary interment site; and identify safety concerns for personnel executing the tasks. The benefits to the warfighter are the development of TTPs that are effective and safe for those performing the JCHR mission; assistance in identifying the level and type of personal protective equipment associated with the TTPs; and immediate improvements in the overall effectiveness and safety during large-scale combat operations.

As Team Lead you will lead a team of diverse individuals to:
