American Workforce Group is currently assisting a Metal Recycling company in Portland Oregon to fill a position they have open as a heavy equipment operator.

 The ideal candidate for this position will have a great attention to detail, previous verifiable heavy equipment experience, a team player attitude, and willingness to learn / grow with the company.

Description for HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR: 

 -Operating front loaders, crushers, forklifts, skid steer & cranes

Details for HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR: 

- Pay is $19-21 Depending on experience 

- Temp to Hire with benefits

- Day shift, overtime as needed

Requirements for HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR:

- Will be using front end loader to move and sort materials based on material type.

- 1 year Heavy Equipment Experience is required.

- Separate metal particles from waste.

- Solid work.

- Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance.

- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
