American Veterinary Group is Hiring a Relief Veterinarian Near Waycross, GA

Satilla Animal Hospital has been serving the Waycross community for over 10 years. We are a 4-doctor practice, and

we pride ourselves on our customer service and community outreach. Our practice offers all of the modern equipment that any doctor would hope for, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and electronic medical records. If you are looking for your next home, we would love to hear from you!

We are seeking a relief veterinarian to cover shifts at our practice. If you are an experienced vet, more recent graduate, or someone interested in venturing into relief, we want to hear from you! A variety of different shifts are available, to accommodate all kinds of schedules.

The ideal candidate must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. Excellent client communication and high-quality medicine is required. 



Waycross is located in the heart of Southeast Georgia, at the northern tip of the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. It is a city filled with Southern hospitality and charm. From the Historic Downtown district to the swamplands of the Okefenokee, there is something for everyone. Visitors can experience the traditional down-home cooking at the local restaurants and slip away into comfort at one of several accommodations. Attractions such as the Okefenokee Swamp Park and Obediah’s Okefenok, give an in-depth look at a one of a kind ecosystem, including the wildlife, plant-life, and pioneer life in the area. Train enthusiasts can catch a glimpse of the train traffic coming in and out of the second largest computerized yard for CSX in the U.S.
