Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the delivery of goods and services to customers
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver freight
- Utilize GIS and transportation management systems to track shipments and optimize routes
- Collaborate with supply chain partners, including 3PL providers, to ensure efficient operations
- Monitor and update shipment status in the system
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities

Requirements:
- Previous experience in dispatching or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and logistics processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with phone systems and phone etiquette
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of SyteLine or other ERP systems is a plus
