How you will excel as part of our team:

The Analytical Chemist I will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses on various substances to support research, development, and quality control activities under the direction of the Laboratory General Manager.

Main duties include:

  • Perform chemical analyses using chromatography (HPLC, GC), spectroscopy (UV-Vis, FTIR), and wet chemistry methods.
  • Prepare samples for analysis, including extraction, dilution, and purification as necessary.
  • Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments to uphold accuracy and reliability.
  • Participate in peer review processes.
  • Interpret and analyze experimental data and compile technical reports summarizing findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects, troubleshoot analytical issues, and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and uphold a clean, organized laboratory environment.
  • Stay current with advancements in analytical techniques and technologies through literature review and training sessions.

Position Type & Expected Schedule

Full-Time | M - F 7AM-4PM / 8AM-5PM | Some weekend/holiday hours required

To flourish as an Analytical Chemist, you'll need:

Our ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship, possess a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Other qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science field
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry methods.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., ChemStation, Empower) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements is desirable.
