An offset press operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This role involves installing printing plates, adjusting ink levels, and monitoring print quality throughout the production process. The offset press operator must be knowledgeable about different types of paper, inks, and other materials used in offset printing to ensure consistent results. Additionally, this role requires troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise during the printing process. The offset press operator must also follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This role may involve working with various types of offset printing equipment, such as sheet-fed or web presses, and may require knowledge of computerized printing systems. A successful offset press operator must have strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Proven previous offset printing press experience
Technical knowledge of offset printing procedures, operations, and troubleshooting
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
