Job Overview: As a Full-Time Shipping Team Member, you will be instrumental in all areas of our shipping operations. This role is varied and requires flexibility, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt. You will be involved in order picking, packing, fork lift operation, box making, and other essential warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring the correct products are delivered. 
• Assembling boxes and packaging materials to prepare for shipping.
• Upholding our quality standards, ensuring every package sent out represents the best of American Spoon.
• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods around the warehouse.
• Collaborating with other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able to perform the following physical tasks:

• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.
• Bend knees, stoop, crouch, or crawl as needed to perform job duties effectively.
• Utilize hands, arms, and fingers with dexterity to manipulate tools, equipment, and materials.
• Stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours at a time, with periodic breaks as necessary to prevent fatigue or discomfort.
• Walk and move about the work area to access materials, equipment, and complete job tasks.
• Maintain balance and stability while performing job duties, including reaching and grasping items at various heights.

• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
• Willingness to undergo physical examinations or assessments as required by company policy or regulatory standards.
