UNFORGETTABLE and SUMMER WIND are two small schooners doing public sailing tours and private charters in Baltimore and the Chesapeake Bay. Seeking a part-time evening Deckhand for the 2024 summer season in Baltimore now through October. Prior experience aboard a sailboat is preferred but not required. Crew will rotate between both boats for more experience.

The Deckhand is responsible for ship maintenance, cleaning and preparing the ship for passengers, line handling for docking, setting, dousing and trimming sails and interaction with passengers during tours and charters. A strong passion for customer service is a must.

This position pays $25 per trip plus tips, typically another $50-$100 per night. Interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and three references for consideration. We're looking to add crew for the evening sails (Sunset, Moonlight) and some day sails in May-early June and late August-October.

Employees must be enrolled in our drug testing program mandated by the Coast Guard. We cover the cost.
