DUTIES:

• Maintain facility to include the repair of windows, doors, roof, floors, stairways, construct shop partitions, bins, racks, pallets. Ensure all equipment is properly oiled, lubricated and in good working order. Operate all maintenance machinery and related tools/equipment in a safe manner.
• Install, troubleshoot, replace and repair electrical equipment such as AC & DC drives, wiring, and electrical/electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Assemble, install, troubleshoot and maintain piping systems, related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Preventative maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery. Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut/join metal parts and fabrications as needed.
• Ability to work with machines that require critical tolerances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a mechanic repairing and troubleshooting mechanical machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 5S and TPM a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams/schematics. ·
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts list and other written material as associated with the job.
• Technical or Vocational training preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50#, climb and work off ladders.
• Experience with lathes, mills and grinders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
