Summary

Pest control technicians call on clients to identify the particular pest infesting the customer’s location, determine the best course of action and apply the products and/or actions needed to provide the clients with a pest free environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Inspect premises (including interior, exterior, roofs, attics and crawl spaces) to identify pests, infestation source and access to infested locations and determine the best course of action to eliminate the problem.

2. Utilizing proper equipment and personal protective equipment, apply chemical solutions, powders, baits, mechanical traps, heat, or exclusion to eliminate pests.

3. Install, inspect and service insect, rodent, and termite stations as well as animal live traps and monitoring devices such as glue boards.

4. Properly and completely fill out all required paperwork including invoices, worksheets, product usage sheets, and sanitation reports.

5. Read and know product labels for all products used.

6. Check all invoices in the morning to make sure all material and equipment needed is in the technicians vehicles.

7. Keep vehicles clean and properly serviced.

Work Experience and Skills:

-Pest Control License ( Core, 7A, 7B) preferred
