American Motors is Hiring an Automotive Title Clerk Near Commerce, CO

Performs work inspecting, assessing, and auditing legal documents submitted for vehicle registration and licensing of all types of motorized vehicles in the applicable statutory guidelines, develops the knowledge and skills necessary to re-assign motor vehicle titles, and investigating all applicable fees and taxes. Other duties may be assigned. To perform requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Examples of Duties

Employee is responsible for the examination of all documents pertaining to ownership, signing over title to new owner.

Ensuring accuracy and enforcing compliance with appropriate statutory regulations including but not limited to Colorado and out of state

titles, researching and resolving complex transactions, title, registration related problems and processing required paperwork.

Process all incoming titles; review documents received for completeness and accuracy; prepare for data entry.

Must be able to research information on Motor Vehicle issues using various resources.

Knowledge of newly enacted legislative bills regarding Motor Vehicle, tax regulations, and other federal, state, and local policies, laws, and requirements.

Skill in prioritizing and scheduling work to allow for its efficient and effective completion.

Employee is also responsible for performing routine clerical tasks as requested. Operates a variety of office equipment, Motility software, communicates current and anticipated problems to superior.

Contact financial institutions, dealerships, and customers regarding titles; figure timeframe of receiving titles once they are paid in full.

Serves as a liaison between American Motors, representatives of business and industry, trade and professional associations, and clients. Provides or disseminates information, both orally and in writing, regarding statutory changes and/or policy modifications.

Willing and able to multitask and extremely pay attention to detail, you will work with titles from all States and will need to make sure titles are signed accurately by our sellers.

Will go to DMV Offices if needed to get titles in dealerships name and /or may add liens to titles we have sold by Request from American Truck Finance or any other financial Institution.

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures; working knowledge of automotive title work practices as required by the position; skill in operation of office equipment, including personal computer, American Motors Motility software system, calculator, etc.

Ability to learn technical terminology; as required by the position; to compose letters and materials using some exercise of independent judgment; to follow verbal and written instructions; to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agencies, and the public.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent with course work in general office procedures.

Experience:

Three years’ experience in an increasingly responsible position in an office setting.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
