American Medical Staffing is Hiring a Nurse Practitioner (Autonomous) Near Dillwyn, VA

American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional – Nurse Practitioner to join our corrections medical team in Dillwyn, Virginia. We are looking for Nurse Practitioners that are certified and licensed without a written or electronic practice agreement with a patient care team physician. This facility is a state prison for men with a daily working population of 1,106 inmates, held at a range of security levels.

NP – Corrections Job Details:
  • Pay Rate: $2,870 - $3,070 per week
  • Schedule: 4 - 10-hour Day Shifts
  • Available Shift: Days, 4 shifts per week
  • Start Date: Two weeks from offer
  • Located In: Dillwyn, Virginia
  • Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Nurse Practitioner license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.

As a Correctional Nurse Practitioner you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
