Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing and wound care
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [state]
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in areas such as suture, DME, ICD-9 coding, utilization review, medical imaging, catheter care, Cerner EMR system, inhale medications, airway management, and ICU experience
