Position Title: Microsoft Dataverse Developer
100% Remote
A solution developer on our team uses equal parts skill and vision to build a user experience that delivers functionality and efficiency. Our solution developers combine data and meaningful visualizations that drive important decisions and display meaningful information in dashboard form.
We need an experienced Dataverse developer who will use their passion to design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions while also helping to visualize and ingest the data our client needs to make meaningful insights. This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veteran's Affairs by collaborating with a development team to leverage Power Platform and Power BI to build user centric solutions. You will coordinate with workforce specialists, UI/UX designers and Power BI development team members to create a seamless user experience using Power BI. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a solution that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, mentoring, and positive code reviews, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You have:

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Dataverse relational databases
• 3 years of experience in Python and JavaScript
• 2 years of experience with web application development (HTML, REACT, CSS, JavaScript, web analytics, or .NET-based tools)
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI for development, data visualization, data analytics, and dashboards
• Experience with data storage and analysis (e.g. SQL, R, Oracle)
• Experience with APIs (such as REST and SOAP)
• Knowledge of Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) and Data Transformation
• Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication to multiple levels of stakeholders and end-users
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or technical equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience or a total of 18 years of experience in lieu of education
