American Litho is looking for both 1st and 2nd Pressman for our 2nd and 3rd shift

2 years experience required

The operator’s responsibilities are as follows:

When the Press is down

o General press maintenance and clean up

o Make sure the feeder and/or other help under you has something to do
When the Press is on make ready
o Make sure feeder and/or sheeter operator knows what needs to be done before make ready starts

o Install plates and blankets

o Set up perf unit/gluer/sheeter

o Set up automatic register control system

o When time permits, train rolltender and sheet operator of all aspects of make ready’s and running register

When Press is running

o Check consistency of register

o Assist 1st pressman with color quality

o Check color and register for consistency and quality through out entire press run

o Assist 1st pressman in training of rolltender and sheet operator

o Show leadership and manage your crew below you like you would like to be managed

o Look ahead to next job so you are prepared

In-line experience a plus but not required, will train

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
