Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join our team. Experience is preferred but not required. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality and cleanliness. If you have a strong background in the restaurant and bar industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the bar operations, including inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring stock levels
- Train and supervise bar staff to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Create and maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect among staff members
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, such as promotions or special events
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards
- Oversee the maintenance of the bar area, including cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with kitchen to coordinate food and beverage offerings
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of bar operations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems
- Ability to effectively manage staff, delegate tasks, and provide constructive feedback
- Solid understanding of inventory management and experience with ordering supplies
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation standards
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the restaurant/bar industry is preferred
