American Jewelry and Loan is Michigan's premier operator of pawnshops currently operating 5 locations in the Metro area including Pontiac, Hazel Park, Southgate, Lincoln Park and most notably Detroit, the home of hit TV show Hardcore Pawn.

We are looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented individuals to be a part of and share in our growth. This is an entry level position with focus on personal growth within a growing organization.

Duties include:

• Working with customer's to meet their financial needs - both in sales and loans.
• Evaluating fair values for products presented for pawn.
• Ability to sell value and negotiate sales.
• Accurately handle cash transactions
• Friendly customer support - in person and over the phone
• Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the shop
• Meeting and exceeding monthly performance goals and objectives

Requirements

• Organized, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Results orientated with a Positive Attitude - the abilitySMILEis a good start.
• Resume must show a stable work experience.
• Willing to undergo background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
