Job Overview:
Under the general direction of the Dietary Supervisor, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving the resident meals and the preparation of the dining room before meals and the clean up duties after meals.
Duties:
-The set up of the dining room tables for meal times
-Replenish condiments
-Serve resident meals, documenting as required by supervisor
-Dining room clean up after meals including: Wiping down tables and condiment holders, rinsing and washing dishes, sweeping and mopping dining area, mopping kitchen as needed.
-Assisting with meal preparation as directed by dietary supervisor
-Transporting trash to disposal area
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
