American House Senior Living Communities is Hiring a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Near Saint Petersburg, FL
- Administer quality care to meet the total needs of residents.
- Assist with medication administration, handling, and storage.
- Monitor vital signs and weight of residents.
- Assist with resident move-in and move-outs and discharge planning.
- Ensure compliance with all written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the Resident Services Department.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Unencumbered LPN license in the state.
- 2 years of nursing experience, preferably with experience in long-term care or geriatrics.
- Experience with dementia residents preferred.
- Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, TB test, and physical.
