Position Overview: American Heritage Protective Service, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Security Services to oversee the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement of our security team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in law-enforcement, extensive industry knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional security solutions to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness and profitability.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to security managers, supervisors, and frontline staff, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion of service offerings.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs for security personnel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and competitiveness within the security services division.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage budgetary planning and financial performance, optimizing resource allocation and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting the brand and networking with potential clients and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the security industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Minimum of 7 years Law Enforcement Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale security operations and delivering results in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of security professionals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, with a focus on physical security, access control, surveillance systems, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing the security services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and make sound business decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WinTeam or similar security management software.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
