American Gypsum is Hiring an Inspector (A-Line) Near Duke, OK

American Gypsum is hiring for an Inspector Operator for the Production department as a Full-Time job in Duke, Oklahoma.
The primary responsibility of the Inspector Operator is to operate the Stacker and Bundler area in a safe and efficient manner. The Inspector Operator is responsible for placing sleuters on all units, managing bundling tape supply, and visual quality inspections. Safety and quality should always be part of the daily operation. The Inspector Operator is to ensure a safe workplace and to produce the highest quality product possible. 12-hour shifts that rotate every week, overtime as required, and the Inspector Operator reports to the Shift Foreman.
Inspector Operator Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all quality-related procedures. This includes completing any necessary tags or forms accurately and completely. 
  • Inspect end tapes and overall appearance of the board in the stackers. 
  • Place the required amount of sleuters in a uniform manner on all units. 
  • Know all types of board produced and the corresponding end tapes. 
  • Maintain housekeeping in the designated area. 
  • Know when special tags are to be used and place on the board in correct location. 
  • Understand operating procedures for the Bundler system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Must be able to read cut list and accurately complete special tags. 
  • Must be able to use touch screen computer and input information. 
  • Moderate noise levels require hearing protection. 
  • Little to no physical exertion required
