Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Security Officer to join our team. As an unarmed security officer, you will serve as a friendly and approachable presence, ensuring the safety and well-being of library patrons and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries and directing them to relevant library resources.
• Provide assistance and guidance to patrons, including directions and information about library services.
• Conduct regular patrols of library premises to deter and detect any signs of unauthorized access, disturbances, or other security concerns.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports for all security-related incidents.

Qualifications:

• Valid guard card.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
