Maintenance Director

Responsibilities:

• Perform all preventative maintenance, repairs, and upkeep related to all furniture, fixtures, and equipment for community
• Routinely inspect the physical plant, furniture, fixtures, and equipment of community to confirm they are in good working order
• Ensure that all vacant resident rooms are ready for a new move in
• Establish and maintain a schedule of service for all equipment and operating systems
• Lead and manage the housekeeping team in a motivating and effective manner
• Manage the housekeeping, laundry, and appearance of community and ensure it is proper working order
• Maintain outside yard care, whether performed by community staff or contract services
• Keep records properly (equipment tests, fire system, grease trap, etc.) per state regulations
• Perform, direct, and document fire and disaster drills according to company policy and procedures and in accordance with state, county and city requirements
• Lead the community safety meetings
• Manage the community vehicle and transportation program
• Drive residents as needed
• Effectively administers and participates in "Manager on Duty" program

• Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment in a friendly and professional manner

• Demonstrate exemplary attitude, work ethic, and unwavering integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Contribute to an incredible customer service experience
• Ability to relate well to residents and their families
• Self-motivated, organized and professional. Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance
• Must be drug free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
