The Bookkeeper will be responsible for, but not limited to, the weekly execution of basic bookkeeping responsibilities including processing payroll, vendor payments, financial statement preparation, maintaining the employee database within Netsuite and assisting with tax compliance. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will assist the management team with duties relating to operations by maintaining the fleet management database, monitoring fuel and maintenance expenditures, managing inventory, along with P&L'S. They may be assigned additional duties, depending on experience and business needs.Responsibilities:

• Monitor payroll liability payments such as state unemployment taxes, income tax withholding, local taxes, and child support. 
• Ensure proper state liability accounts are opened and in good order.
• Handling employee wage/pay questions and concerns. 
• Review and update payroll processes and procedures as needed. Ensure payroll compliance and recommend payroll best practices.
•  Maintain (verbal and written) confidential and secure storage of all payroll information.
•  Make sure every weekly payroll is accurate and adheres to state and federal law, as well as company policies.

• Ensure all vendors are paid on time and maintain a record of all invoices.
•  Prepare weekly financial statements in Netsuite and review weekly expenses.
•  Monitor weekly fuel usage and maintenance costs at all entities.
•  Update fleet management database with all current vehicle issues and statuses.
•  Duties such as data collection and entry and creation of business reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or relevant field (Required)
• Netsuite experience 1-3 years (Preferred) 
• Prior Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Administration experience (Required)
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•  Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
