Overview

Long Prairie Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group Company has opportunities for a Paunch Truck Driver at our Long Prairie, MN plant.

• Haul manure to designated areas.
• Maintain equipment (., clean, wash, grease).
• Move cattle from pen to pen for ante-mortem inspection, check water troughs, and verify cattle counts per load.
• Initial back of Ante-mortem card verifying cattle count.
• Highlight front of card verifying all info is correct and signed by USDA.
• Separate slow / challenged cattle.
• Transport / move deads; use skid loader to clean pens.
• 75 % of the time will be dedicated to driving paunch truck.
• 25% of the time will be dedicated to barn work and additional tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required) :

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Current CDL Class A.
• Demonstrated ability to drive a bobcat.
• Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must be able to perform the job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime. Must be able to work overtime as required.

Start times and hours vary based on production needs.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Hazmat experience.
• Prior harvest experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
• Prior production experience.
• Work history in the last 12 months.
