American Food Vending is Hiring a Cashier| Clerk 2nd shift M-F | Busy Cafe Near Charlotte, NC
Job Description:
- Receive cash payments and present change to customers, operate register, including credit card sales
- Ensure accurate transactions; balance cash register at beginning and end of each shift
- Maintenance tasks may include: clearing trash, restock product, clean and maintain work station neatness
- Assist with some light food prep for deli and salad bar; assist with catering prep and delivery as needed
- Greet, assist, and provide friendly customer service to all clients and guests
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 years work experience as a cashier in retail or dining
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills are required
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs, and stand for entire scheduled shift
