American Flagging is Hiring a Traffic Controller Near Bridgeville, PA

We exist to save lives!

We serve to provide and implement safe work practices in different environments and weather climates.

Here's a list of expectations for the role of Flagger.

  • Using hand signals and direction signs to direct traffic around road worksites
  • Communicating with other flaggers to direct two-way traffic onto a single lane
  • Informing the on-site crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.
  • Appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites
  • Setting up barricades and traffic cones along construction sites to cordon off certain areas.
  • Removing all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of site work.

We are looking for full-time and part-time (flexible with variable days) candidates, year-round.

No experience necessary, on the job training will be provided!

Punctuality, reliability, and communication are your keys to success.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, a vehicle, and a cell phone.
  • Travel to each site/location with your own vehicle.
  • Tolerant to inclement weather (hot/cold/wet/dry). WE WORK OUTSIDE

  • Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
  • Lifting and carrying objects up to 35 pounds
  • Working in all weather conditions
