Our Safety Specialist is part of an existing, high-powered and actively deployed safety program! This position supports the Safety Director by monitoring and administering driver safety policies, OSHA and DOT programs and training. This position provides day-to-day tactical support to our branches by assisting in inspections as well as providing guidance and training on safety issues.

• Starting wage at $65,000 - 75,000 depending on experience
• No weekend work

This position may be based in Omaha, NE or Sioux Falls, SD. Depending on where this position is based, overnight travel is required 25%-50% of the time to branches throughout the Midwest. A company car is provided.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities desired:

• Strong communication skills – verbal, written.
• Minimum of two years of experience in health and safety.
• Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to successfully work independently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
