What We are Looking For:
We are recruiting to fill the Olympia Field Supervisor position and searching for experienced leaders in the labor movement who are passionate about employee rights and have the ability to affect change by motivating staff and leading effective member engagement campaigns. This position reports to the Field Program Director and is responsible for leading and supervising Council Representatives and support staff. The Field Supervisor promotes the mission, vision, core values and goals of the WFSE through internal organizing and representation of members across the State of Washington. The Field Supervisor determines and assigns work and areas of responsibility for field staff and ensures staff receive training, coaching, mentorship, and resources needed to effectively perform their duties. It is expected that selected candidates live within commuting distance of their assigned work location. This position is overtime exempt and may be required to work occasional weekends. Travel is normally limited to the assigned area of responsibility. Must have a valid driver’s license, use of personal vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance. A motor vehicle report, reference check, and a background check will be conducted as a condition of employment. Benefits include twelve (12) paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, $150 monthly cell phone allowance, $800 monthly vehicle allowance, medical/dental, life, and long-term disability insurance, personal holidays, and more. The salary range is $104,906 to $121,441 and will be determined commensurate with experience. This position is exempt and reports to the Field Program Director.
