Entry-level role that investigates and maintains auto investigation claims. Determine liability, secure information, reviews coverages, arrange appraisals, and settle claims.

Participate in required training activities and learn investigation and settlement techniques. Learn and develop an understanding of corporate procedures and philosophies.

Compensation Minimum : $23.00 / hour

Compensation Maximum : $30.76 / hour

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.

Primary Accountabilities

• We investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, claimants, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, special investigation unit, other adjusters and public personnel.
• We attend a new employee training program that includes claim processing in multiple systems, policy and procedures, and company culture and its application to the Claim environment.
• We handle files with limited authority based on management.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• You will demonstrate experience providing customer-oriented solutions or service.
• You will need to learn the basic understanding of claim handling process.

Licenses

You will need to obtain state specific property casualty claims licensing after hire.

In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4 days per week) working from home. On occasion you may be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings and culture events.
