American Excavation and Construction LLC is looking for experienced Laborers to join our team in Salem, OR as a Laborer.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate excavators, backhoes, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment for jobs sites.
• Work with the company truck to load material and equipment for jobsite delivery.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Load and unload materials and equipment for jobsites.
• Assist in the preparation of the site for the day of operation.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to procedures.

Skills:

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16” or thicker.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and have good work habits.
• Good communication skills.
• Good physical strength and stamina.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Excavation equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
