KEY OBJECTIVE(S):
  • The Creative Director, Advertising plays an essential role in the marketing, creative, communications and digital arenas. They are responsible for developing creative for marketing campaigns including collateral for print, digital, website, email campaigns, television and radio across paid and organic platforms.
This role is based in our East Rutherford, NJ office
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Based on the business objectives, build and implement creative initiatives tailored to the annual Marketing plan that addresses all sectors of our business: attractions, retail, dining, and luxury
  • Contribute ideas for Marketing-led initiatives and programming throughout our retail and entertainment center and key partners
  • Generate new ideas and engaging content for advertising, promotional campaigns and marketing communications initially in collaboration with the Marketing and Creative team leaders, and rolling out to Events, Social, Tourism, Leasing, and Operations team leaders
  • Lead creative campaigns, including presenting ideas for projects and oversight from ideation through execution
  • Work in close collaboration with graphic design team
  • Develop exceptional and well-crafted copy
  • Vet and prioritize deliverables for Creative team
  • Present campaign approach and concepts, including deadlines and budgets, to Marketing and Creative team leaders
  • Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions with Marketing and Creative team leaders
  • Quality control for advertising campaigns and creative assets/media including all forms of media
  • Analyze results from each campaign to determine what is successful and what to improve for the next campaign; prepare reports/presentations that recap results of campaigns
  • Adhere to and assist on the planning for Marketing and Creative budgets
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • ;BA/BS degree with emphasis in marketing and or advertising
  • Flexible attitude and open-minded approach in responding to multiple and fluctuating deliverables and feedback
  • Strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
  • Mastery with advertising copy
  • Creative risk-taker
  • Attuned to contemporary culture and latest marketing trends with direct impact on our industry
  • Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external partners
  • Understanding of the appropriate use of IP related to entertainment brands
  • Well-organized, ability to manage tight deadlines
  • 12 years of advertising/marketing agency experience developing omni-channel marketing and creative campaigns
  • Proven experience in the retail and/or entertainment industry
  • Adept at Adobe Creative Suite i.e. PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign
