American Direct Procurement is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator - Lenexa, KS Near Lenexa, KS
- Assist with the setup, coordination, and completion of special marketing events and tradeshows
- Design, copywrite, and create marketing materials in a variety of mediums (digital, print, swag, presentations, etc.)
- Utilize recent market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organization and its target audience
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, and content marketing as guided by the overall marketing strategy
- Independently coordinate marketing events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
- Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including monthly blogs and public relations efforts
- Support internal communications through the company’s intranet site
- Assist with special projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, or a closely related field
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills
- High level of attention to detail and proactive work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
- Solid understanding of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
- Open and effective at communicating with team members and associates
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Specifically, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Ability to work well with and partner across multiple disciplines including Sales, Marketing and Communications.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills are essential
- Must have a high level of creativity
- Proficient in Microsoft Sharepoint
- Occasional travel may be required
- Skills to analyze metrics and create summary reports on creative campaigns
- Ability to work in a face-paced and rapidly changing environment
- SugarCRM and SugarMarket experience a plus
