Job Summary Provides ongoing preventive oral care by cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent gum disease
Responsibilities
  • Educates patient on preventative care and periodontal disease
  • Records periodontal conditions, occlusal relations, the extent of prophylaxis, and treatment plans
  • Evaluates gingival health and health of all oral tissue
  • Performs prophylaxis, debridement, SRP, and fluoride varnish as needed per patients recommended treatment
  • Prepares treatment rooms including decontamination, sterilization, cleaning handpieces and room, restocks supplies
  • Takes necessary radiographs
  • Schedules patients next hygiene visit
  • Review the patients medical history and update it accordingly
  • Provides excellent customer service
