Job Title: Project Manager I

Reports to: Director of Projects

Department: Sales

Job Classification: Exempt

Direct Reports: N/A

Position Summary:

As a Project Manager I, you will oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of various projects, ensuring goals are met and projects are executed successfully. Interface with customers, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of projects. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the opportunity to assist Senior Project Managers on larger projects.

Qualifications:

🎓 Associate Degree in technical field; Bachelor's Degree in engineering or business preferred

💼 Minimum one year of relevant experience with cranes or minimum two years of relevant project management experience

💻 Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Project

🧠 Proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced office setting

🗣️ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

🤝 Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organization levels

💼 Possess high professional ethics, good judgment, and ability to take decisive action

💼 Ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

📅 Strategic project planning, scheduling, and cost tracking

🤝 Coordinate with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and vendors

🛠️ Ensure completion of milestones and deliverables

📊 Review proposals, estimates, and specifications for initial project planning

🔄 Assist Senior Project Managers on large projects

🤔 Perform scheduling, invoicing, and coordination duties as required

🌐 Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

Ability to work a minimum of full-time hours; additional hours based on project demand

🚗 Ability to travel as project demands; some overnight travel may be required

🌦️ Ability to work in various environments, including outside weather conditions

🏭 Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places

💼 Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds

👀 Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

🏢 Office environment
