Position Overview
The ACLU Foundation of New Hampshire is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Communications Manager. The Communications Manager is a skilled multimedia communications professional that supports and enhances the organization’s strategic communications, digital outreach, and public advocacy efforts on a range of civil rights and civil liberties issues. Under the supervision of the Communications Director, this role translates our legal, policy, and public education work powerfully to inspire, inform, and move people to action.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position will be $45,000 - $55,000. The ACLU-NH provides excellent benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, vision, dental insurance, generous paid-time-off, and a Defined Contribution 401K Retirement Plan.
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to operate a computer, laptop, and other office equipment, as well as personal electronic devices in order to draft/write, communicate, and perform other functions of the job in a professional office setting. Position also requires the ability to attend and set-up community events with reasonable accommodations (i.e. setting up easels and writing pads, pop-up tents, and bottled water).

Note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the ACLU of NH will temporarily accommodate remote work for this position. Subsequently, this position will primarily be based out of the ACLU of NH office in Concord, NH. This is a full-time position, and the ACLU of NH will provide equipment for temporary remote work.
