American Battery Technology Company is Hiring a Quality Manager Near Plant, FL

OVERVIEW

American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) is an industry-leading battery metal and critical materials, technology

development, and commercialization company. Our Plant in Sparks, Nevada, will be the first integrated

implementation of our multi-step processing train for the full mechanical processing, physical separations, chemical

extractions, and production of commercial-scale battery metals that will be resold back into the battery manufacturing

supply chain to enact a low-cost, low environmental impact, and domestically sourced closed-loop circular economy.

ABOUT THE JOB

ABTC is looking for a motivated Quality Manager with broad experience across incoming quality, process quality, and

customer-facing quality activities. A primary objective of this role will be to drive the identification, prioritization, and

mitigation of quality risks throughout every aspect of the operation. The Quality Manager is also expected to

support the development, deployment, and active improvement of critical quality system elements. This position will report

directly to the Plant Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop process and product quality standards and quality plans to ensure products will meet the expectations of

our customers.

· Make quick, sound decisions regarding quality issues with a customer-focused mindset

· Serve as primary escalation point of contact for quality issues

· Lead the development of PFMEAs, Process Control Plans, and test/inspection procedures to identify, prioritize,

and mitigate quality risks.

· Lead communication of quality performance, investigations, and corrective actions

· Support the development, deployment, and improvement of ABTC’s Quality Management System (QMS).

· Ensure quality standards are developed, communicated, and met for incoming materials.

· Oversee timely and accurate review and release of shippable products and the review and disposition of nonconforming

material.

· Provide and leverage product and process quality data to enable continuous improvement.

· Lead customer-facing quality discussions and audits.

· Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to facilitate swift and effective resolutions including, root cause

investigations and the development, implementation, and validation of corrective and preventive actions.

· Support ABTC to achieve operational objectives including ISO 9001 certification..

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· University degree - chemistry or engineering or comparable experience

· Well-versed in ISO 9001

· Experience in transition operations from development to high-volume process production.

· Knowledge of and leadership in structured problem-solving methodologies

· 5 yrs. Quality Management Systems (QMS)

· Experience with the development and use of critical quality tools and quality system elements.

· Customer and Supplier-facing quality experience.

· Adept with process data acquisition and analysis tools.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to execute with a calm and collaborative urgency.
