Finish grinding of tooling and components using Blanchard Grinder, automatic and manual surface grinder, OD Grinder, and jig grinder as required.Job Description
- Finish grind tooling and components achieving final size and surface finish requirements.
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly as required.
- Ability to perform measurement of precision components to ensure specifications are met.
- Ability to read blueprints, perform machine set up and operate various grinding equipment.
- Ability to perform general shop math.
- Ability to hold close tolerances.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- 3 years of experience working in a precision manufacturing environment operating grinding equipment.
- High school
