Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various duties related to warehouse operations and yard maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Assist in the rigging and building of loads for shipment
- Load materials onto trucks
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard area
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a scrapyard or similar environment is preferred
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cherry pickers
- Strong ability to accurately complete tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
