Company Overview: America’s Auto Auction is a full-service used-vehicle auction services provider that facilitates the wholesale remarketing of used vehicles for B2B customers, delivering a critical liquidity function to enable the used car sales ecosystem. Based in Carmel, IN, America’s Auto Auction facilitates the selling and buying of used vehicles at physical auction sites across 19 states as well as on digital platforms. The Company’s daily mission is simple and straightforward: to provide high quality service and operational execution for dealers and institutional customers.

Summary: The Director of Treasury will be responsible for all aspects of financial and operational treasury strategy, including capital structure, cash forecasting, debt, investment management, and interest rate risk management, among others. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and experience in complex financial processes and structuring and negotiating financial transactions. In addition to excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills, the individual will have the ability to partner, effectively organize and manage teams and establish clear objectives that achieve results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following statements.

• Manage the capital structure, including capital market transactions and debt obligations.
• Develop and adopt external relationships including the bank group and rating agencies.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and processes; and business ethics.
• Oversee forecasting sources and uses of cash, and the overall liquidity position both on a short-term and long-term basis, understanding current business trends and needs.
• Oversee the credit manager function as well as drive improvement in working capital. 
• Ensure treasury activities are in compliance with treasury policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies, and internal controls.
• Support quarterly Company filings related to treasury balances and activities.
• Maintain a strong system of policies and procedures and impose a strong level of control over treasury activities.
• Daily, weekly and monthly cash flow reporting to include necessary KPIs and metrics.
• Engage in acquisitions and divestitures, capital budgeting and decision making, and integration activities.

Requirements

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. 

Education/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA / CPA preferred 
• 5 years of senior level experience in a treasury, finance or accounting-related field
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
• Proven interpersonal and leadership skills 
• Ability to effectively use influencing strategies to impact, shape of re-direct the behaviors of others 
• Exhibits enormous energy with high sense of urgency 
• Displays intellectual curiosity 
• Has innate drive to win (competitive) while also being empathetic
• Experience managing and training direct reports required.
