Position Summary: This role is critical to the professional development of AAO members through helping staff and volunteer members create successful learning programs. This role focuses almost exclusively on understanding member needs and helping those involved in content creation address those needs. This role will also be instrumental in helping the AAO measure outcomes. This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally to meet various learning objectives and implement various learning methods. This is very much a member-facing role that requires one to be outgoing and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. This role requires excellent time management, the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. This role also requires creativity and flexibility as the infrastructure for delivery of learning content is being reconstructed.

This work may include developing content that is presented in-person, virtually, through print, in manuals, videos, tools or other job aides, etc

Sedentary inside office work with no exposure to weather conditions. Requires ability to lift, pack and unpack boxes of supplies.
Requires attendance at some evening and weekend meetings throughout the year.
