Dispatcher
American Ambulance Dispatchers staff and operate the Fresno County EMS Communications Center, which is a secondary Public Service Answering Point (PSAP) in the 9-1-1 system. The Communication Center dispatches for 17 different agencies, including all ambulances in Fresno, Kings, and Madera counties. Dispatchers also dispatch and coordinate all responses for the Fresno and Clovis City Fire Departments. Dispatchers at American Ambulance provide callers with pre-arrival instructions and utilize the latest technology in Computer Aided Dispatch.
Previous dispatch experience is not required to apply for this position.
Once selected, all training will be provided.
The pay range for this position is $4,085 - $4,833 per month.
