We need a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee our nursing staff. In this role, you will evaluate nursing staff performance and recommend commendation or disciplinary action as necessary, as well as be directly involved in hiring and training new nursing staff, ensuring they understand our standard procedures and are equipped to provide excellent care to our patients.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in California
• BLS and CPR Certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Employee must possess strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Must be able to manage employee files.
• Must be able to ensure that employee licenses and certifications are current.
• The ideal person will be able to complete all tasks in an extremely fast paced environment.
• Must be able to travel between our 3 locations: Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Rancho Cucamonga.
• Experience in home health and hospice is a plus.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Demonstrates leadership and strong clinical support to nursing staff and aides.
• Supervises RN, LVN and medical support staff.
• Develops and monitors employee performance plans; monitors and evaluates nursing and support staff activity and takes corrective action where needed.
• Assists in the recruitment, development, orientation and training of nursing and clinical staff.
• Assisting all new employees with their new hire paperwork.
• Hire and train new nurses.
• Ensure all nursing staff follow proper treatment and safety procedures.
• Evaluate nursing staff performance regularly.
• Processes documentation (performance reviews and disciplinary actions) and terminations of CNAs: responsibilities include actual employee relations, e.g., performance correction, termination, etc
• As needed - Provides nursing care services as needed, including admission, assessment, routine visits for hospice and home health patients.
