Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Engagement Manager to join our team. As an Engagement Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, volunteers, and the community. You will be responsible for coordinating and executing various engagement initiatives to support our organization's mission.
Duties:
- Develop and implement engagement strategies to increase community involvement and support
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various projects and events
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute fundraising campaigns
- Organize and lead public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our organization's mission
- Educate the community about our programs, services, and initiatives
- Manage social media platforms to promote engagement opportunities and share success stories
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to engagement activities, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and preparing reports
- Provide leadership and guidance to volunteers, ensuring their satisfaction and ongoing commitment
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, public health, nonprofit management) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in volunteer management and engagement activities
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to effectively communicate our organization's mission to diverse audiences
- Experience in fundraising and donor relations preferred
- Proficient in using social media platforms for engagement purposes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
