America Medic & Science is Hiring a Warehouse and Logistics Manager Near Woodinville, WA

Job purpose

The Logistics Manager ensures the warehouse is stocked and organized in an efficient manner and that processes within it are performed in a GMP complaint way. They're responsible for all orders leaving warehouse and tracking product coming into the warehouse. The Logistics Manager is required to supervise the warehouse associates and designate their tasks, while ensuring that the employees are working to the expected standard. They also fill in any work gaps in the warehouse, or as advised by the GM and CEO.

Duties and responsibilities

Warehouse maintenance:

  • Maintain product inventory count conforming to GMP regulations - including receiving, inventory binders, red tags, and Netsuites.
  • SOP's - Work with QA to keep SOP's up to date and suitable for the warehouse. Receive logs from warehouse associates and check for errors, follow up on missing logs. Deliver finished logs to QA
  • Arrange any necessary maintenance for warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Track and order supplies for office and warehouse
  • Track productivity of warehouse associate and sanitary manager to ensure daily goals met
  • Receive product inventory into warehouse
  • Report any issues or concerns with condition of products to QA
  • Maintain partial cases of product pulling from received shipments, updating on log
  • Assist in receiving product into QB, invoices, bills, bring to COO

Orders:

  • Double check all product pulled for Pick Lists. Ensure matching lot #, exp. date
  • Gun count all product for order to verify case quantity
  • Fill out shipping log for each order. Record in computer and print for order paperwork
  • Assist in implementing order changes per customer request
  • Determine what products need to be 'finished' depending on destination country. Communicate with warehouse associates to designate tasks that will prepare product for shipment (i.e label rework, assembling cartons, relabeling product, printing lot numbers)
  • Issue correct labels per project. Maintain locked label case.
  • Assist in finalizing order documents

Logistics:

  • Setting up shipping for completed orders
  • Arranging shipments of product to and from manufacturers

Preparing orders:

  • Confirm Pick List is accurate, record with lot numbers and expiration dates
  • Pulling and stacking cases for order
  • Recording pallet Packing Slip with accurate information
  • Wrapping, strapping, weighing, and measuring pallets for shipment

General duties:

  • Scanning all paper that comes through the warehouse for digital filing
  • Comply with all SOP regulations
  • Determine warehouse staffing requirements. Interview, hire, and train new employees; or oversee those personnel processes.
  • Filling out SOP logs consistently and accurately
  • Calculating weekly payroll hours
  • Overseeing and coaching employees
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse on a daily basis
  • Set workhouse objectives and communicate them to direct reports

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Science or two years experience in a facility which utilizes quality inspection, auditing or testing
  • At least two years working in a supervisory position or relevant experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to work with others while maintaining a professional attitude
  • Familiarity and adherence to current GMP standards
  • Familiarity and adherence to current company S.O.P.

Working conditions

  • Ability to work regular full time hours in a warehouse setting (i.e. irregular heat/ cooling)

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Lift objects up to 40lbs on a regular basis. Do repetitive tasks with accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
