About The Position:

The Member Service Representative is responsible for performing sales and service functions and generating sales referrals within the branch to assist in achieving branch and organizational goals. Greater Nevadans in this position focus on providing quality financial services to members and prospective members.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Effectively demonstrate our passion and purpose as a non-profit organization by Helping More People Live Greater."
  • Demonstrate high level of accuracy related to branch operating procedures to include cash handling, dual control, daily work documentation procedures including balancing all work and cash-related transactions.
  • Demonstrate highly developed skills with respect to general member interactions and when engaged in member servicing interviews to develop referrals for service and/or product sales.
  • Conduct member interviews to assess financial needs; offer appropriate services/products including referral for the potential sale of a loan and/or products related to loans; offer deposit products and services to help members achieve financial goals. Open, close, and service member accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cross-sell products and services to members and potential members in order to meet established business plan and scorecard strategies, as well as member needs.
  • Complete all required steps in the account opening process including actively trying to find additional financial needs through profiling and complete all required steps in the account closure process including actively trying to retain the account.
  • Process required transactions within Greater Nevada policy and procedure guidelines, as well as individually assigned limitations.
  • Meet production goals established by management to include product/loan sales referrals.
  • Apply appropriate procedures and reporting requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.

  • $17.07-$23.56 per hour
  • 19 hours per week
  • Compensation is dependent on experience

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, mouse, multiple monitors, telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • You may be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
